New
or Mint |
Club
has never been used and may still be in wrapping. |
| 9 |
Excellent |
The
head is only slightly shop-soiled and could almost be passed 'As
New'. |
| 8 |
Very
Good | The
club has probably only played a few holes or been hit at the driving
range. Either way, if there are any marks on the head they will
be very slight. |
| 7 |
Good |
Woods
will have no very obvious sky marks or chips and the face will
be in good condition. In the case of irons, there may be scratching
from sand or dirt but no major chips. |
| 6 | Fair | In
good usable order but cosmetically not quite deserving of a 'Good'
Rating.
In the case of Irons there may be minor stone chips, and in the
case of woods possibly light sky marks resulting from normal wear
and tear. |

Well
Used |
Iron
heads will either have obvious chips and/or will not be cosmetically
up to much, because of age or misuse. Woods will probably show
sky marks. For any clubs rated 'well used' we will normally elaborate
as to why in the description. |
